The editors of Hamsa: Journal of Judaic and Islamic Studies are very pleased to publicly announce that the journal is now accepting proposals for its 9th volume.
For this volume, we particularly welcome proposals offering original analysis on the broad subject of Judaic and Islamic studies. The deadline for this call for papers is 28 February 2023. The papers should be sent to hamsa@uevora.pt.
Since 2014, the Centro Interdisciplinar de História Culturas e Sociedades da Universidade de Évora (CIDEHUS) has been publishing the multidisciplinary journal Hamsa, dedicated to humanities studies on Judaism and Islam in the Iberian Peninsula and in the context of diasporas. Multilingual (English, Portuguese, Spanish, French), Hamsa offers each year comparative analyses of historical, philosophical, literary, anthropological and sociological discourses, over a period that stretches from the Middle Ages to the present day.
