In the wake of the London and Manchester attacks, hate crimes targeted at Muslims and their places of worship have soared. More recently, Dr Nasser Kurdy (a surgeon) was stabbed outside the Altrincham Islamic Centre in Greater Manchester; and the late Makram Ali, died and many more injured when a van ploughed into worshippers leaving late night prayers in Finsbury Park, London…
