The Muallem Prize is awarded by the Borhan Non-Profit Educational Foundation to individuals who have an effective and significant role in the field of education and societal training. This award is presented in various categories, including the Best Teacher, Best Film with an Educational Theme, and more.
The prize aims to honor and enhance the social standing of teachers and educators, with awards granted to one or more recipients.
Prize Eligibility
Teachers, instructors, and educators who have at least five years of experience and plan to continue their work for the next three years are eligible for the prize.
Evaluation Criteria

- Problem-solving innovation in education
- Impact on students’ lives and futures
- Constructive engagement with the local community in students’ growth and learning
- Influential and exemplary social presence
Prize Amount
The prize amount is determined each year based on funds provided by sponsors and endowments. For the second cycle, the prize remains the same as in the previous cycle, totaling one billion tomans.
Registration Deadline and Announcement of Winners
The registration deadline is December 20, 2024, and the closing ceremony will be held in February 2025.
How to Register Nominees
Teachers may apply for the award, and others can nominate successful teachers.
