Dr Jonathan A. C. Brown is author of the acclaimed monographs Hadith: Muhammad’s Legacy in the Medieval and Modern World (2009) and Misquoting Muhammad: The Challenge and Choices of Interpreting the Prophet’s Legacy (2014). His 2011 publication Muhammad: A Very Short Introduction has provided audiences throughout the English-speaking world with a highly accessible and engaging introduction to the life and legacy of the Prophet Muhammad.
