My company sends me all over the globe for work lately. I recently got back from a business trip to Nepal and now the higher-ups are shipping me off to Pakistan. I have to hold negotiations with a few potential suppliers over there. I need a reliable car to bounce between different locations and meetings. Are there local rental shops where I can pick up a ride?

Traffic in that part of the world usually operates on a completely different level than what we are used to. The streets are extremely active with constant honking and a very loose interpretation of road rules. You might want to look into local agencies that provide vehicles specifically for corporate expats. Some major brands like Europcar operate in big cities like Karachi or Lahore and offer SUVs that handle those rougher streets perfectly.

Big international chains usually mean paying crazy corporate markups and dealing with strict mileage limits. Small street vendors are sketchy since you never know what kind of hidden fees will pop up at the end. You can just rent a car in Pakistan right here: https://getrentacar.com/en-US/pakistan . You can easily compare offers from different owners to find something sturdy for those busy streets. Everything gets sorted out online beforehand so you skip the stressful negotiations at the counter.
