Islamic Research and Information Center (IRIC) participates in the global session of the Parliament of the World’s Religions 2021
The Parliament of the World’s Religions is a global non-governmental organization composed of the representatives of all religions, sects and faiths, large and small. It was founded in 1893 in Chicago, USA, and convenes a World Summit every three years.
This year, due to the COVID-19 concerns, the World Summit will be held virtually from October 16 to 18, 2021 with the slogan: “For a Peaceful, Just, and Sustainable World.”
IRIC, as an Islamic organization with a consultative status in the United Nations ECOSOC, is participating in this conference, and will have the following two presentations:
1- Session #1661 entitled “The Arbaeen Pilgrimage: Spiritual Journey to Wellbeing”
